ScrapingBypass proxies fully support both HTTP and SOCKS5 protocols, ensuring seamless integration with modern web scraping infrastructure and automation tools.
Available Protocols
- HTTP Proxy: The industry standard for web scraping, compatible with almost all libraries (Python Requests, Node.js Axios) and standard browsers.
- SOCKS5 Proxy: A versatile, lower-level protocol that provides higher performance for complex tasks and is compatible with advanced automation frameworks and anti-detect browsers.
Technical Compatibility
These protocols are widely supported across:
- Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright.
- Anti-detect Browsers: AdsPower, BitBrowser, Multilogin, Dolphin{anty}.
- Programming Environments: Python, Go, Node.js, PHP, Java.
Important Configuration Note
While we support HTTP and SOCKS5, ScrapingBypass currently does not support direct connections via the HTTPS protocol to the proxy host (HTTPS-over-Proxy). Please ensure your client is configured to connect to the gate.scrapingbypass.com gateway using either the HTTP or SOCKS5 protocol.
